ENVIROMENTAL PROMISE

Blossom Honey are suppliers of raw honey.  Here we set out our commitment to continually improve our environmental performance, to manage our environmental impact and to confirm our compliance with relevant environmental legislation.

We will achieve this through the following commitments:

Our suppliers

We work only with reputable apiarists who do not feed their bees sugar solution, or use pesticides

Transport

We aim to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible and only work with reputable third party delivery companies

Our packaging

We avoid all single use plastic.  Our honey is packaged in glass jars (except the Manuka honey which is in recycled and recyclable plastic)

Waste

In all of our operations we make every effort to minimise waste and make efficient use of all resources

Recycling

We offer the opportunity for glass jars to be returned to us and sterilized for future usE. Our waste materials from packaging and refilling honey are all recycled

Cleaning

We only use environmentally friendly cleaning products, containing biodegradable chemical 

Training

Our employees are trained in environmental issues and the environmental effects of their activities
