LONG LIVE THE QUEEN - ALL THANKS TO ROYAL JELLY
When worker bees decide to make a queen, they choose small larvae and feed them with Royal Jelly in specially constructed cells, about 5 – 20, depending on wether the bees are superseding or swarming.
The lucky larva is placed then in the oversized cell which is filled with Royal Jelly – a complex protein known as ,,Queen Bee food,,. And in about 16 days the Queen Bee is fully grown and the worker bees live to serve Her Highness day and night: feed her, clean her and disseminate her pheromone creating unity in the hive.
All this time our dedicated Bee Keepers are giving plenty of love and care to this beautiful creatures so the nectar of their hard work is reflected into every single Blossom Jar.
