Raw Honey and Garlic
Garlic is part of the onion family and allicin, the compound found in crushed garlic, can help the immune system fight colds. We love mixing our raw honey with garlic, a pinch of ginger, cinnamon sticks, lemon juice to make a fantastic tasting (and super-healthy) natural cough syrup. Just add all the ingredients to a pan, warm them up and add the raw honey when cool. Store in the fridge and just sip as required through the day!

Raw honey lemon and ginger

Cold symptoms need to be attacked with large doses of vitamin C and potassium, and freshly squeezed lemon juice is the perfect solution for this. Add the juice to generous amounts of ginger (which will help to attack the bacteria and inflammation), and then add a few spoonfuls of our raw Blossom Honey, which will provide heaps of antioxidants to help soothe a sore throat.

Honeycomb to ease breathing

Studies show that chewing honeycomb helps clear the bronchial airways and eases both viral and bacterial conditions like colds, bronchitis, and even pneumonia. In addition to chewing the comb, eating honey each day is also part of the treatment. Just remember to clean your teeth well after chewing!
